Founder of TRC and the driving force behind it all! Tahir provides strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and delivery of a high-impact community programme. As Chair of the Management Committee, he drives key initiatives aligned with TRC’s mission, builds partnerships, upholds governance standards, and champions TRC’s vision in the wider community.
He also leads Red Group intervals on Mondays, Group 1 on Midweek run and Group 2 on Sunday long run. A self-confessed latecomer to running, Tahir is working toward becoming a Six Star World Marathon Majors finisher.
Former President of Herne Hill Harriers and a long-time TRC supporter, Glen wears
many hats at the club. As Deputy Chair, he supports governance, maintains key
records, and helps on fundraising, grant applications, and donor engagement.
Additionally, he manages all things branding, design, and merch.
Glen’s also a qualified coach and leads the Yellow Group on Monday nights. With over 100 marathons to his name, Glen is living proof that dedication beats speed—
passionately encouraging runners of all abilities, especially those in the middle of the pack.
Talat joined TRC in early 2022 and is a qualified yoga instructor and run leader. She helps shape TRC’s voice—creating engaging content across social media,
newsletters, and press to promote the mission and celebrate the community. A Civil Servant by day and strength training fan by night, she’s completed multiple half
marathons and is a vital part of TRC’s friendly, welcoming energy.
Joined TRC in 2023 and hit the ground running—literally! She leads on developing
fundraising strategies, organising events and campaigns, and identifying new
funding opportunities to support TRC’s mission. Also builds and maintains
relationships with local partners, sponsors, and the wider community to strengthen
engagement and impact.
Fran quickly became a key face of the club—leading Wednesday sessions, welcoming first-timers, and appearing regularly in TRC’s social videos. Fran’s completed both the London and Manchester Marathons, and is a passionate advocate for the power of running to bring people together.
One of TRC’s most energetic motivators! Amar’s been running for 20+ years, tackling
everything from 5Ks to muddy obstacle courses.
He’s also our social heartbeat—
organising meetups from Halloween haunts to Bonfire Night beers. Oh, and he loves pizza. He also coordinates volunteer recruitment and onboarding, ensuring every team member is supported and set up for success.
As the lead for Midweek Run
and Couch to 5K sessions, Amar plays a crucial role is driving TRC forward.
Rosh keeps the club running smoothly behind the scenes. A Monday night regular,
he’s gone from 10Ks to half marathons thanks to TRC.
When not running, he’s
regenerating buildings, leading businesses, or supporting young people through charity work. Responsible for managing the charity’s finances, preparing and
monitoring budgets, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely and transparent financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements
A regular Red Group runner, Jenny loves the buzz of intervals—and the community
even more.
Oversees the club’s technology infrastructure, including website
maintenance, data security, and digital communications. Implements effective tech
solutions to enhance operational efficiency, support member engagement, and
ensure smooth digital delivery across TRC activities. Jenny is also leading our transition to charity status by ensuring best practices across our digital platforms.
