FAQs

How do I join?

Simply head to the Tooting Run Club page on Eventbrite to sign up for a session.

There are no membership forms to complete at TRC.

But you'll need an Eventbrite ticket to check in at each session you attend.

How much does it cost?

Nothing!

Yes, TRC is completely free, thanks to grants, crowdfunding, fundraising, and our amazing volunteers!

We're here to remove barriers and help make exercise free and accessible to everyone

What sessions do you organise?

A typical week looks like this:

Mon: Interval training

Tue: Yoga

Wed: Social run and C25K

Thu: Strength & conditioning

We also do monthly extras, including long runs, parkrun tourism, a walking group, dog-friendly runs, and fun socials.

Check out the Events page for more details

I’m a complete beginner, can I still join?

Absolutely! All paces & faces are welcome.

Our Couch to 5K, our social runs and interval sessions are beginner-friendly with groups split by pace.

These are ideal for those new to running or who are coming back after a break.

When are tickets for Monday Intervals released?

Tickets for all of our weekly sessions, including Monday Intervals, are released on Eventbrite on Fridays at 10am.

Tickets for other sessions don't follow a strict release schedule, so it's worth giving us a follow on Eventbrite to stay updated -especially for special one-off sessions with limited spots

I signed up, but I can't attend, how do I cancel?

Simply log into your Eventbrite profile, go to 'Tickets', select the session you need to cancel, and click 'Cancel Order'.

It's really important to cancel if you're no longer attending as it helps free up your spot so someone else can join!

Eventbrite says the session is fully booked, can I just turn up?

Unfortunately not.

All attendees must have a valid Eventbrite ticket and scan in on arrival. This keeps the session safe and within capacity.

If the session is 'sold out', check back later in case spots open up due to cancellations.

I booked two tickets to bring a friend with me, but their ticket was cancelled - why?

You're welcome to book a ticket for a friend, but each ticket must be in the name of the person using it.

If we spot duplicate names, we assume it was an erгог (which happens often!) and may cancel the extra ticket to free up space for others to book.

Do you have a bag drop?

Yes! For most sessions, we meet at Tooting Athletics Track, where you can leave belongings in the registration hut (at your own risk). Lockers are also available in the changing rooms (they take a 20p coin). We recommend storing any valuables in the lockers.
